About me

You don't have to figure it out alone

I'm Fidan — a clinical psychologist in training who approaches every person with genuine curiosity and a belief that the right conversation, at the right time, can change everything.

I hold a BSc and MSc in Psychology from the University of Sussex and I'm currently training in CBT, with plans to specialise in EMDR. My work is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and always led by you — not a protocol.

Over the past 3 years I've supported children and adults with trauma, neurodiversity, and complex mental health needs across residential, community, and outpatient settings. That experience shaped how I show up: with patience, depth, and without judgment. I work with neurodivergent clients and adapt to how you think and communicate — not the other way around. I work in English, Russian, and Turkish.

"My goal is to create a space where people can connect and heal together on their mental health journeys."

Common questions

Things you might want to know

Not at all. Many people I work with don't have a diagnosis and simply feel that something isn't quite right, or want to understand themselves better. No referral, no label, no crisis needed to begin.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy explores the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. It's evidence-based, structured, and practical. You'll leave sessions with tools you can genuinely use — it's not about being told what to think, but choosing differently.
Sessions take place via Zoom — you receive a secure link after booking. All you need is a quiet, private space and an internet connection. Research shows online therapy is as effective as in-person work for most presentations.
This varies by person and what you're working through. Some find clarity within 6–8 sessions; others benefit from longer work. We'll discuss this openly after your initial consultation and review it regularly together.
Yes. Everything shared in sessions is held in full confidentiality, in line with professional ethical standards. The only exceptions are standard safeguarding circumstances required by law, which I'll explain fully in our first session.
That uncertainty is completely normal and actually a great place to start. The initial consultation is low-pressure — just a conversation. You're not committing to anything beyond that one session.
